Hi! I’m Joy Voltenburg and I love to quilt! I’ve been quilting since just after the turn of the century (doesn’t that sound old!). I live in central Illinois and I started quilting on a Singer 401A in 2002 and graduated to a Babylock Decorators Choice several years later. I quilted my quilt tops on my home sewing machine until March, 2010, when I purchased my Voyager 17 and Hinterberg Stretch frame. I sold my Voyager in June, 2012 and bought an A1 longarm quilting machine and frame. I currently have it set up at a 12′ width in my “formal” living room. Follow me along my journey as a longarm quilter and the great changes it has brought to my life as well as the new friends I’ve made along the way.
